Lincoln fans react to draw with Wycombe Wanderers

Let’s take a look at what Imps fans made of Saturday’s draw with Wycombe Wanderers. The Imps drew the game 2-2 after they recovered from falling a goal behind just before half-time.

It marked Lincoln’s first point of the season, and first point in the Football League after a six year absence.

Here is a select few reactions from Imps:

This fan loves the fact that the Imps are back in the Football League and appreciates former Imp Gareth Ainsworth who applauded the travelling Lincoln fans after the game.

Neal Eardley impressesed this Lincoln fan for sure. The defender made his debut for the Imps yesterday and it has to be said, Eardley had a great game and caught the eye of many other fans.

Matt Green notched Lincoln’s first goal back in the Football League. This fan likes what he saw in Green’s attacking prowess… and his celebration.

There is considerable excitement around Lincoln and this fan is no different from everyone else. Anticipation builds for next weekend after Lincoln’s performance against Wycombe, The Imps host Morecambe next Saturday at Sincil Bank.

This fan clearly appreciates the quality Wycombe Wanderers have. Only emphasises the standard of performance the Imps put in.
